Art + Literature
Life imitates art.
Sometimes words can’t articulate certain feelings. At those times, art can invoke emotions and tell stories. I like to scavenge for artists that illustrate themes in styles that I like. It’s a way of self-expression that I respect highly. Their creativity and distinct styles would make me a big fan of their work.
Here are a few that I love:
Nara by Yoshitomo Nara
Love and Distance: The Art of Wong Kar Wai | Night
Studio Ghibli by Hayao Miyazaki
Green Over Blue by Mark Rothko
Paintings by Chetsada Phuwiang
Water Lilies & The Japanese Footbridge by Claude Monet
